JP Taravella Band and Orchestra Tree Planting Program
If you have a passion for the Environment,
here is a great way you can help.
The J.P.
Taravella Band and Orchestra program, in cooperation with the Department
of Agriculture, is participating in a re-forestation project. Volunteers
from J. P. Taravella High School will be planting 1000 trees locally on February
10, at a site selected by the Department of Agriculture.
You may have one or more trees planted in someone's honor, memory, or as a
gift. The cost is $10.00 per tree and a nice certificate will be provided
naming any organization or person you wish. In addition to contributing to this
outstanding music program, you will be helping the environment by replacing
trees that were either damaged by hurricanes or fires. This positive effort
will help support these talented students while strengthening our environment.
